My Goals

 Management Philosophy:

- Nutrition can change the way you feel on the outside but more importantly on the inside.

- Being a dietitian is about opening the eyes of others to a healthy and energy filled life.

- People of all sizes, backgrounds, and current health states can improve their health by adopting unique lifestyle behaviors for their bodies.

Goals

- Gain experience in multiple settings to broaden my range of skills.

- Complete a Dietetic Internship and pass the RD exam.

- Become a well-rounded and trustworthy dietitian who can work in any setting.

I have a few short term and long term goals. In the next 2 years, I want to complete my Dietetic Internship and pass the RD exam.  Once I become a Registered Dietitian, I am open to many different settings and want to gain experience all around.  I plan to further my education and obtain a Masters Degree. After a few years in the field and looking around in different settings, I am sure I will have a better idea on what exactly I will get my masters degree in. For now, I have interests in Sports Nutrition and Nutrition for Wellness and Health Coaching.

Long term, I can see myself working for patients with chronic diseases, athletes, and children. With anything I do, my goal is to take a holistic approach with nutrition. Another goal of mine is to open up my own practice. I have thought about combining my knowledge as a dietitian with my knowledge in exercise. I know I have a long way to go, but I am dedicated to expanding my knowledge through experience so I can eventually achieve my short and long-term goals
